Inspiring the Next Generation: GMAC Students Challenge 2025 Highlights

The GMAC Students Challenge 2025 successfully concluded on 10 July 2025 at The National Library! The challenge invited students to debunk common myths about genetically modified organisms (GMOs) through engaging and educational video projects.

This year’s theme, “Busting GMO Myths,” encouraged students to apply their creativity and scientific knowledge to help make gene modification technology more accessible to the public.

Event Highlights:

Finalist Presentations – Students showcased their videos through engaging presentations, impressing both judges and their peers.

Guest Talk – A dynamic session by science communicator BioMJ, who shared tips on impactful science communication.

Panel Discussions – Interactive sessions with A*STAR experts in genetic modification technology, providing valuable insights.
